The name-giving raga of the Todi thaat: komal Re, komal Ga and komal Dha with tivra Ma. In performance — where the Miyan ki Todi form is the default — Pa is often withheld in the ascent. A late-morning raga whose plaintive colour is a byword for karuna rasa.
